DOOR

Behind every door, lies a soul.

A soul that speaks of life.

A life that yearn for things.

Things that could be anything.

Anything, be it physical, mental or emotional.

Emotional, I shall speak of this soul.

Soul who yearns for a place in the world.

By trying to go door to door, finding a place.

Some doors slam shut right at its face

Some doors just close the door slowly

Some doors do not even open at all.

Some doors let the soul in, only to push it away.

The soul just bites it lips and refuse to cry.

The soul knew it may found a door who is willing to let it open

And never shut it out.

But with just too many slam and closed doors.

The soul just retreat into its door.

Lock it with locks.

Ignoring the sounds beyonds its door,

Who is trying to get in.

The soul clam its ears shut

And just let the bitter tears fall

For the soul do not wish to risk itself

To feel the hurt of slamming and close doors

Ever again.

Because...in the end, you're on your own.

The bitter saying it read about it before..

The on your own line came from FF8 actually. This whole thing is somehwhat of a rather negative reflection of someone who feels rejected, even though it may not be intentionally. Or if you play FF8, you can say more or less is like Squall but erm, I can just say that I got inspired but it is not really about him.
